Glow is the world's first national intranet for education and was developed exclusively for the delivery of Scottish education. It is funded by the Scottish Government and managed by Learning Teaching Scotland.

All staff and pupils in Scottish schools have access to Glow through their own unique username and password. In time, all parents will also have access to Glow.

Glow can be accessed from anywhere with an Internet connection.

Pupils in Wemyss Bay Primary School have been using the Glow Games, accessing their Glow e-mail accounts, contributing to Glow Groups and customising their 'My Glow' space where they can upload documents, insert web-links and enter diary dates and events into a calendar.

Our older pupils are trained as 'Glow Bugs'. It is their job to help the younger pupils log on  successfully to Glow.
